  This workshop will familiarize you with the test format of the four sections of TOEFL: reading, listening, speaking and writing. Useful test tips and hands-on practice will be provided. This workshop is designed for students who have no or minimal exposure to the TOEFL test.

GRE Preparation

• GRE Orientation Workshop
  This two-hour workshop will familiarize you with the test format of Analytical Writing and Verbal Reasoning of the GRE revised General Test. Useful test tips and hands-on practice will be provided. This workshop is designed for students who have no or minimal exposure to the GRE General Test.

Self-study

• How to study English more effectively
  In this workshop you will learn how to analyze your language study needs, set a target for your English learning and write an effective study plan. Relevant self-study resources will also be introduced.

• Avoiding Common Mistakes in English
  This two-hour workshop will highlight a number of English errors which are commonly found among intermediate Hong Kong Chinese users of English and give you tips on how to improve on accuracy.
