Sponsorship for Taking PSC Test

Eligibility

Undergraduate students of UGC-funded programmes who take the Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi Test (PSC Test) at the HKBU Putonghua Training and Testing Centre (PTTC) in or after August 2018 may submit applications for a full sponsorship of the PSC Test fee subject to the fulfilment of the stipulated criteria below:

1. Students who have not yet fulfilled the Putonghua Graduation Requirement at the time when they apply for the PSC Test (i.e. the specific application deadline for the PSC Test); and
2. Students who have not received any sponsorship for the PSC Test before; and
3. Students who have
   
   • (a) completed the 40-hour non-credit bearing Preparation Course for Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PUTO3080) (for the course conducted by LC in or after July 2018 only)
     
     • i. with at least 85% of attendance and the mock test taken at the end of course and
     • ii. subsequently taken the 33rd PSC Test at the HKBU Putonghua Training and Testing Centre (PTTC) ;
   •  
   • or
   •  
   • (b) attained “Third Class, Grade A” or above in the 33rd PSC Test taken at the HKBU PTTC without completing PUTO3080.
