活動宗旨
Objective

促進學生以普通話進行跨文化表達與反思，提升語言運用、研究與媒體製作能力。
鼓勵以短視頻呈現文化現象觀察、比較與解讀，構建校園多元文化交流平台。
Facilitate students in using Putonghua for cross-cultural expression and reflection, enhancing their language use, research, and media production skills.
Encourage the use of short videos to present observations, comparisons, and interpretations of cultural phenomena, building a diverse cultural exchange platform on campus.

主題：語言與文化
內容：視頻内容可以是文化現象反映、跨文化比較、文化介紹、語碼轉換、方言與身份、翻譯與誤解、網絡語言、節慶語言、飲食與語言、校園語言文化等
Theme: Language and Culture
Content: Videos may cover reflections on cultural phenomena, cross-cultural comparisons, cultural introductions, code-switching, dialects and identity, translation and misunderstanding, internet/online language, festive language, food and language, campus language culture, etc.

參賽對象：本校所有全日制教資會資助學生
參賽形式：個人或團隊,1–4人。
組別劃分：
- 漢語母語組（包括以廣東話和普通話為母語的同學）
- 非漢語母語組（母語非漢語的國際學生）
- 混合組（接受不同語言背景的同學合作）
  （説明：語音準確性不作爲重點評選標準，語言運用、内容的創意性更爲重要。）

Eligibility: All full-time UGC-funded students
Format: Individual or teams, 1–4 members.
Categories:
- Chinese Native Speaker（including students whose native languages are Cantonese and Mandarin）
- Non-Chinese Speaker (International students whose native language is not Chinese)
- Mixed-Language Group（Accepting students with diverse linguistic backgrounds for collaboration)
  (Note: Pronunciation accuracy is not a key evaluation criterion; language use and content creativity are prioritized. Collaboration among students from different cultural backgrounds is encouraged to reflect cross-cultural communication and integration.)

語言：全片口語或旁白以普通話為主；加中英雙語字幕。
片長：2–4分鐘（含片尾），超時將影響評分。
畫面：16:9（橫屏）或9:16（直屏）皆可；解析度1080p；格式MP4；檔案≤500MB。
安全與合法：涉及場地拍攝須獲許可；避免個資泄露與敏感內容。
Language: Spoken lines or narration primarily in Putonghua; add bilingual subtitles in Chinese and English.
Duration: 2–4 minutes (including end credits); exceeding the limit will affect the score.
Frame: 16:9 (horizontal) or 9:16 (vertical) allowed; 1080p resolution; MP4 format; file size ≤ 500MB.
Safety and legality: Obtain permission for location shooting; avoid personal data leakage and sensitive content.

線上報名：參賽選手應在報名截止日期前製作好短視頻作品，連同參賽成員資料、腳本/旁白稿、參考來源清單（如有）上傳到短視頻比賽的報名網頁https://forms.office.com/r/QgiYNg1HH9。評審組將從主題、語言、敘事結構與創意、技術完成度等方面對作品進行評選。
命名格式：姓名/隊名_作品題目.mp4（例：語言觀察家_校園語碼.mp4）。
報名截止時間：11月14日（星期五）
Online registration: Participants should complete their short video before the registration deadline and upload it together with participant information, script/narration, and a list of references (if any) to the competition registration webpage: https://forms.office.com/r/QgiYNg1HH9. The judging panel will evaluate entries based on theme, language, narrative structure and creativity, and technical execution.
File naming: Name/TeamName_Title.mp4 (e.g., Language Observer_Campus Codes.mp4).
Registration deadline: 21 November（Friday）
