Teaching and Learning Research Team

On 6 May 2025, the Language Centre successfully hosted a one-day symposium featuring three talks centering on the theme “Perspectives on Teaching and Learning of Transdisciplinary Communication in the 21st Century”.

A panel of distinguished speakers shared their expertise and insights with our participants:

• Professor Gray Kochhar-Lindgren: Fulbright Scholar and lead for the HKU and UGC Team-Teaching Award for Transdisciplinarity-in-Action. He is an Honorary Professor of the Humanities at the University of Hong Kong, where he served as Professor & Director of the Common Core from 2014 to 2022.
• Professor Christoph A. Hafner: Professor in the Department of English at City University of Hong Kong
• Professor Paul Gibbs: Director of the Center for Doctoral Education Development at East European University, Emeritus Professor at the University of Middlesex.
