1. Go to the Language Learning Oasis (OEM707)
2. On the software start-up page, click on the "Reading" icon ⇒ "Study Skills Success"
3. Choose Reading module ⇒ start at "What is Scanning?" and continue to the end

Ex 2

1. Go to SALL Resources on the Web
2. Select "Reading" ⇒ Click on "Developing Reading Skills" ⇒ SelfAccess.com
3. Follow the instructions on our webpage to access the program, then go to "Library"
4. Under "Advanced Search", enter "skim" or "scan", under "Find a word or phrase", and click on the blue arrow.
    When you have chosen a lesson, work through the reading exercise(s) (look for the reading symbol - a book -
    at the top of the page).
