Prior to her current role, Magna Dewan taught English Academic Writing and Contemporary Reading Worlds at College of International Education. Beyond teaching, she founded “The Nepali Narrative,” an online literary community promoting Nepali and South Asian literature in English translation. In 2025, she organised the first Digital Nepali Literary Festival, featuring award-winning authors and academics.
