BIO

Arancha was born in Aviles, Asturias and educated in Spain, UK, Switzerland and HK gaining degrees in French and Hispanic Studies as well as in English Literary Studies. She joined HKBU in 2014 and teaches a number of credit bearing and Supplementary Spanish courses.



RESEARCH INTERESTS
Discourse Analysis, Translation and Interpreting, Second Language Acquisition, Language Teaching for Specific Purposes, Post-Colonialism, African and Latin American Women Writers; Twentieth-Century World Literature; Cultural Studies, Feminist Critical Theory; Culture and Identity; Gender and Representation in Latin America.
