Mr. Chan has worked in Hong Kong as well as in California. His
teaching experience includes primary / elementary (Hong Kong and
California), secondary / middle school (Hong Kong and California),
tertiary (HKBU),
adult education (OLI) and in-service teacher education (HKIEd).
He has even tried kindergarten teaching for a month in a private
kindergarten in San Francisco. He teaches and learns at the same
time because he believes that it is a life-long process that he
hopes he would never get tired of.
During his years teaching in HKBU, he has learned a lot from his
peers and his students. This experience has made him more aware
of his strengths and weaknesses in teaching. Mr. Chan is now the
coordinator of LANG1492 (English II), and the coordinator of extra-curricular
activities for Language Centre. He has also conducted many workshops
and organized many activities for students to improve their English.
