Important note: You can choose from a wider range of monologues if you wish, not just the ones on this website. Of course you still have to send the script to be approved. Choose any monologue you want to do. This is your presentation.
There will be a preliminary screening on the 1st of April, 2019 (3:30 - 6:30pm). Students who enter the contest must come to the preliminary screening (Around 5-10 mins per contestant). Contestants selected during the preliminary screening will go on to the Grand Final on the 18th of April, 2019(7:00 – 9:00 pm).
Details on the time, venue & order for the Preliminary Screening will be announced
through emails on the 25th of March, 2019 (subject to change).
(You need to wear nice clothes but you don't need to wear a suit.)
Students may select any of the monologues from this list. There is no word limit to the speech but the presentation should last for about 3 minutes on average. It should not be under 2 minutes or over 4 minutes or the presenter will be penalized. The presenter will also be penalized if they speak in the same manner as in the movie. Students will need to show their own interpretation of the monologue.
